Fort Ringgold

TX Established October 26, 1848, at Davis Landing by Capt. J.H. La Motte, 1st U.S. Infantry, as Ringgold Barracks. Oakalla

Main St. (FM 963),Oakalla, TX The first settlers in this rich farm and ranch land arrived in the 1850s. Oakalla Post Office was established May 19, 1879.
